The SRM Powerbox WST plants are capable of producing carbon dioxide-free electricity from both high and low pressure steam. The SRM Powerbox ORC plants are capable of generating electricity at a low temperature (55 ° C) without any harmful emissions. The equipment can be ordered in the range 150 to 2400 KW.

Geothermal power plants

Much of the world’s energy consumption could be replaced by professional use of waste heat from industrial processes and geothermal sources.

The SRM Powerbox is a stand-alone power plant capable of transforming waste heat or geothermal heat up to 55 ° C into emission free electricity.

SRM Powerbox ORC produces electricity with hot water, while SRM Powerbox WST uses directly wet and saturated steam.

Heat and power plants

Opcon Powerbox increases power output in existing CHP’s and waste incineration plants. CHP plants often suffer from seasonal low customer demand for heat, reducing turbine power generation. This is contrary to the interests of the end user, which are to maximize electric power output  from the turbine, especially when seeking different green certificates, etc. Waste incineration plants offen suffer the same problem, requiring extra coolers to compensate low customer heat demand and to maintain high incineration volumes. Opcon Powerbox is integrated as an extra heat load, thereby increasing efficiency and utilization of the steam turbine, whilst at the same time producing additional electrical power.
In waste incineration plants, the Opcon Powerbox allows for increased incineration volumes without the need for extra coolers.

Process industry (pulp and paper, chemical, steel)

Opcon Powerbox replaces costly cooling with cost efficient power generation. High temperature industrial processes with cooling needs normally use heat exchangers and coolers before process water is either recycled or drained to bio-treatment plants or other recipients. However, cooling – which is often required for legal or technical reasons – brings about significant energy losses and results in high costs for operating cooling towers or similar equipment. With Opcon Powerbox, parts of the process heat previously requiring cooling, can be transformed into new power production instead, whilst at the same time decreasing cooling costs. The value of installing an Opcon Powerbox can sometimes be further increased, if it can replace investments necessary for additional cooling capacity.

Heavy industry

Opcon Powerbox develops existing waste heat and district heating systems. When industrial processes supply waste heat to district heating networks there are long periods of heat supply ocercapacity. This excess heat needs to be cooled of creating energy losses as well as cooling costs. By installing an Opcon Powerbox excess heat can be converted to cost efficient and emission free new electric power generation. In addition to improved system efficiency, Opcon Powerbox can improve cooperation between industry and energy utilities, as well as creating both economic and environmental value independent of which party installs it.

Marine and diesel genset

Opcon Powerbox improves gensets and combustion engines. Industrial natural gas or diesel engines convert only part of the available fuel energy to usable power. The remainder is lost as heat, resulting in significant energy losses. In industrial combustion engines, Opcon Powerbox can reduce fuel consumption by between 5 to 10 percent, or increase existing power generation by a similar 5-10 percent without the need for larger engines or more fuel. Opcon Powerbox can utilize low grade waste heat, such as jacket cooling, scavenger air and combustion gas cooling and convert it into cost effective power generation. In addition to improved system efficiency and reduced operating costs, this system integration creates significant environmental improvements due to reduced emissions of substances such as CO2, NOX and sulphur.

The Opcon Powerbox also generates electricity in areas without electricity. Opcon Powerbox is able to significantly increase electricity production without increasing emissions and fuel consumption in the case of sziget üzemű -fossil fuel combustion systems. Such systems are common in Australia.

The necessary prerequisite for the propagation of electric cars is to set up an adequate number of public filling points. Newly-built parking spaces must be constructed in such a way that at least ten electric parking stations can be installed from 100 parking spaces without breaking the enclosure. At existing parking lots, at least two of the 100 parking spaces that have been started must be equipped with an electric vehicle filling station.

In the case of shops larger than 1,500 square meters net selling space, 1 January 2019 for shops with a net selling space of between 300 and 1,500 square meters, located in settlements with more than 50,000 inhabitants, January 1, 2019 is the deadline for fulfilling the decree. In the settlements with a population of 20 001-50 000 inhabitants until 1 January 2020, and in settlements with less than 20 000 inhabitants until January 1, 2026, according to the decree, parkers must be completed. In the case of existing works for the sale of parking places for parking (parking), at least one of the 100 parking places (parking spaces) started up by 1 January 2017 at least one, by 1 January 2019, at least two electric car service stations.
